I’m sitting here enjoying a piece of dark chocolate which I love. I don’t want to think of chocolate as a luxury but something I can still enjoy on my shoestring. Almost every day I have a piece of chocolate. I do try to be strong and have one piece of chocolate but here can be days! My secret is I only ever buy chocolate when it is on special, I never pay full price. Even then, I only buy chocolate when there’s a really good special on, like half price. I’m a canny shopper so when I see chocolate at half price I stock up, perhaps four blocks or more! Supermarkets regularly have a special on chocolate so I wait around until the dark chocolate I like is back on special. Having a stock of chocolate I also have a handy gift when for instance I want to say a small thank you to someone. For me chocolate is one of life’s little pleasures; not to be denied but enjoyed piece by piece.
